Answer first: To stake TRX on Stake 2.0, lock TRX for Energy or Bandwidth in your wallet, then optionally delegate. On UnstakeDesk: Stake tab → resource → amount → sign. Your wallet holds the keys.
Why stake TRX
Staking mints network resources: Energy for smart contracts and Bandwidth for ordinary transactions, plus TRON Power for voting. Pick the resource that matches how you use the chain (Energy vs Bandwidth).
How to stake TRX on UnstakeDesk
- Connect a TRON wallet (TronLink or another that signs Stake 2.0).
- Open the Stake tab.
- Choose Energy or Bandwidth.
- Enter the TRX amount you can lock; leave liquid TRX for fees.
- Sign the stake transaction in your wallet.
- Optional: open Delegate to point resources at another address (delegate guide).
Stake for a specific resource
- Stake TRX for Energy — contract-heavy usage.
- Stake TRX for Bandwidth — transfers and light activity.
Planning the exit before you stake
Exiting is not instant. Read how to unfreeze TRX so the ~14-day clock is not a surprise. If you will lend resources, remember you must undelegate before unfreeze.
Safety
UnstakeDesk is non-custodial: we never ask for seed phrases. Confirm every signature on your device. Not financial advice—verify amounts on an explorer after staking.
